Meet The Team

Sharri earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at Dalhousie University in 2017 and then went on to gain a Master’s in Physiotherapy from Brunel University in 2021. Clinical experience throughout her studies allowed her to gain experience in orthopedic, acute care, stroke and pediatric physiotherapy. However, Sharri has a particularly interested in community orthopedic work.

Sharri enjoys making connections with individuals, while treating and making them feel better is just a bonus. She aims to put people first and provide a positive environment.

Outside of the clinic, Sharri spends her free time volunteering with the Bermuda Is Love group and being active – playing volleyball and dancing.

Hi, I’m Azra Shakir, and I am a Clinic Assistant at InTouch Therapy.
I enjoy supporting our patients and working alongside our team to help create a welcoming, caring, and professional environment. Being able to make someone’s day a little easier, whether through a kind word or lending a helping hand, is one of the most rewarding parts of my role.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mother to my son, a role that has taught me patience, resilience, and the importance of leading with love. In my free time, I enjoy relaxing, spending time with family and friends, and going on outings. While my personality can vary from being quiet and reflective to outgoing and social, I appreciate the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life.
Looking ahead, my goal is to earn a degree in education and build a career where I can inspire and make a positive impact in the lives of young people.
